Lunar New Year Promotion

February 1 - March 27

Fallsview Casino Resort invites guests to celebrate the Year of the Horse with a vibrant Lunar New Year experience throughout the month of February. The resort comes alive with a full-scale celebration featuring exciting events, live entertainment, exceptional food and beverage offerings, and a variety of promotions across the property.

“For more than a decade, Lunar New Year has been a highlight for both our guests and associates,” says Richard Taylor, President of Niagara Casinos. “We’re thrilled to see our team bring this vibrant cultural celebration to life while remaining true to its rich Asian traditions.”

One of the most significant holidays in Asian culture, Lunar New Year has become an annual tradition at Fallsview Casino Resort, eagerly anticipated by many guests. The Year of the Horse, symbolizing vitality, success, and perseverance, provides a meaningful backdrop for welcoming the new year. Annual festivities return with Fallsview Casino’s Lunar New Year promotion, offering Momentum members the chance to participate in a grand prize giveaway. Members can swipe their Momentum card at a promotional kiosk through February 28 for a chance to qualify. Five qualifiers will be selected weekly for the March 7 grand prize draw at 5 p.m., where two brand-new Honda Civics will be awarded.

Celebrations continue on February 17 at 2 p.m. with a traditional property-wide lion dance travelling through the Galleria, casino gaming floor, and Golden Lotus restaurant. Lunar New Year traditions are deeply rooted in symbols of good fortune, from the ceremonial dotting of the lion’s eyes to awaken it, to the rhythmic drums, guest interactions with the lions, and the memorable “eating of the lucky lettuce,” often shared with guests as a cherished keepsake.

Fallsview Casino Resort’s authentic Cantonese restaurant, Golden Lotus, will also feature a traditional Lunar New Year special menu from February 17 to 22, highlighting dishes considered “lucky” in Asian culture. Reservations can be made through the resort’s website.

The celebration is further enhanced by festive décor throughout the property, including cherry blossoms, floral arrangements, and lantern banners that reflect the graceful yet powerful symbolism of the horse. At the main entrance, the Teslatron serves as an Instagram-worthy focal point, welcoming guests and honouring the Year of the Horse in a bold yet traditional display.
