UB40 stands as one of the most iconic and enduring reggae bands of all time. Formed in Birmingham, England, the band emerged in the late 1970’s with a mission to bring reggae music to the mainstream while staying true to its roots. Their name, taken from a UK employment benefit form, reflects the band’s early commitment to social awareness and storytelling.

With a career spanning more than four decades, UB40 has sold over 70 million records worldwide and achieved extraordinary success with timeless hits like “Red Red Wine”, “Can’t Help Falling in Love”, “Kingston Town” and “Here I Am (Come and Take Me)”.

In 2021, the group mourned the loss of founding member Brian Travers, whose vision was an integral part of the band’s identity. His legacy continues to live on through the music and the band’s ongoing performances around the world.
